This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered when you purchase from US Forklift Parts (“we”, “us”, or “our”) at https://forkliftparts.us.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Order Processing
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
- Processing times may be longer for:
- Special-order or custom parts
- Drop-shipped items
- High-volume or backordered products
- Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.
2. Shipping Methods
We ship using a variety of carriers depending on item size, weight, and destination, including:
- UPS
- FedEx
- USPS
- LTL Freight carriers
The shipping method and cost will be displayed at checkout when available.
3. Shipping Rates
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:
- Item weight and dimensions
- Shipping destination
- Carrier availability
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
4. Freight (LTL) Shipments
Certain large or heavy items may ship via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight.
For freight shipments:
- A commercial address with loading dock or forklift is recommended
- Residential delivery, liftgate service, or appointment delivery may incur additional fees
- The recipient is responsible for ensuring proper unloading capability
5. Delivery Estimates
- Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed
- Carrier delays, weather, supply chain disruptions, or customs clearance may impact delivery times
- We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control
6. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss passes to the customer once the shipment is handed over to the carrier, unless otherwise required by law.
7. Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship within the United States.
We do not ship to:
- P.O. Boxes (for large or freight items)
- International destinations (unless otherwise stated)
8. Address Accuracy
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information
- Orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer may be subject to additional shipping fees
- We are not responsible for lost or delayed shipments due to incorrect address information
9. Damaged or Lost Shipments
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged:
- Inspect all shipments upon delivery
- Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt
- Contact us within 5 business days of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging
- Do not install or use damaged items
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may void claims.
Lost Shipments
If a shipment is lost in transit:
- Contact us so we can assist with a carrier investigation
- Resolution timelines depend on the carrier
10. Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a shipment is refused or returned as undeliverable:
- Shipping fees are non-refundable
- Return shipping and restocking fees may apply
- Refunds are issued only after the item is returned and inspected
11. Drop-Ship Orders
Some items ship directly from our suppliers.
- Drop-ship items may ship separately from other items in your order
- Processing and delivery times may vary by supplier
